Little, .1. W. Patehett, and J. J. Graham. Dr Thacker reported that in consequence of the war the proposals of the league to alter the constitution of the Lyttelton Harbour Board had hail to stand over during the last session of Parliament., and probably nothing would lie. done until the war was over. The passing of the Waimakariri Harbour Hoard's Pill would strengthen the league's case when the amendments required ultimately came under consideration in the House. He recommended the league to contest the next election under the present law, and the league agreed to do so. The executive approved the action taken by Dr Thacker, and accorded hi in a hearty vote of thanks for his services. Preliminary arrangements were made for conducting the next election campaign, sub-committees being appointed to report to a future meeting on the selection of candidates.
