ASHBURTON COURT.

Henry Martin was fined 5/- and costs at the Ashburton Magistrate's Court to-day, before Mr V. G. Day, S.M., for failing to send his children to school. J. G. Jackson, on two similar charges, was fined 5/- and costs in each instance. A char. jf using obscene language, preferred against Desmond Wilson, was adjourned for three months. P.
