NAVY DEPENDENTS' FUND. The balance-sheet of tile IslingtonHornby Royal Navy Dependents' Fund Carnival was submitted and duly adopted at a fiual general meeting of the committee, held in Hornby School on Wednesday. The gross takings amounted to £155 11/6, and expenses to £9 1/6, leaving the sum of £146 10/- to be placed to the credit of the fund. The thanks of the committee are specially due to Mr Berry, who kindly installed the electric light in the school grounds; the Tramways Band, which played selections during the afternoon; Mr Bodgers, for the use of the material for the side shows; and the various local bodies for their valuable assistance. The gross takings guessing competition was won by Mr H. Bountree. who guessed £l5O.
