MANURIAL ANALYSIS.
UNIFORMITY OF TERMS. At yesterday'B meeting of the exemjtive of the North Canterbury Farmers' ! Union, Mr Brown (president of the Ashi burton Branch) moved, in accordance ■ with a resolution passed by his branch: | "That, with a view to getting in manurial analyses uniformity of terms and thus simplicity of comparison, the 1 various branches should a.sk the manure sellers in their districts to give on their j price lists the guaranteed minimum analyses as registered—and as they appear on the invoice certificates—in the following simple terms, viz.: Nitrogen (soluble and insoluble), phosphoric anhydride (soluble and insoluble), potash." Mr Geo. Gardner seconded the motion, which was carried, and it was decided to forward the resolution to the Board of Agriculture.
