LARGE SUBSCRIPTIONS RECEIVED. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received August 19, 12.40 p.m.) NEW YORK, August 18. J. Pierpont Morgan and Co. announce that the subscription books for the syndicate loan have been closed on account of the large subscriptions alreadv received. The loan is for £50,000,000, for the purpose of enabling the Allies to purchase further supplies of munitions in America.
