The representatives of the oversea Parliaments, when entertained at a Mayoral luncheon at Belfast, denied that their visit was intended to dictate a policy upon Irish domestic affairs. The speeches made contended that an Imperial Parliament, controlling the affairs of the whole Empire, would find a solution of the Irish problem. «
