SUDDEN DEATH.

SCHOOLBOY SUCCUMBS. The death occurred suddenly this morning of a boy 15 years of age, named Sydney Harold Ray, who re sided with his parents at 112 Wright's Road, St. Martins. The lad, who was strong and big for his age, had complained of being sick after he had his breakfast. His mother went to a neighbour's house to telephone for a doctor, and on returning at 8.45 a.m. found the boy dead. When I)r Marks arrived he could only pronounce life to be extinct. Sydney Ray had been attending the West Christchurch District High School, and was studying for matriculation.
