The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., has just received a cablegram from London giving the undernoted market information; —“Wool sales: Market active. As compared with June 8, merino superior 5 to 74 per cent., medium inferior 7 4 to 10 per cent., lambs , r > per cent, higher; crossbred greasy and scoured medium and coarse about 5 per cent., lambs par to 5 per cent, lower; others little change.” Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London oftice, dated July 19: —“Tallow: At the weekly auction prices closed mostly 1/per cwt dearer. We quote prime mutton SO/- per cwt and good mixed 49/ C per cwt.” EXPORT 07 PRODUCE. Press Association. WELLINGTON. July 20. New Zealand produce entered for export last week was valued at £555,034, including: Butter £ 12,718 Cheese 48,474 Meat 188,848 Hides 17,059 Tallow 20,724 Wool 242.252 IMPORTS AND EXPORTS. Press Association WELLINGTON, July 20. The value of the imports into the Dominion during ttie June quarter was £5,760,158, including specie valued at £210,250. The figures for the corresponding quarter last year were respectively £4,487,931 and £553,201.
