LABOUR AND PROTECTION. What can be the meaning of this? Why is there this indisposition to give to Australia a Protectionist Tariff? And why has Labour dishonoured its pledge to give to the people the Initiative Referendum? There must be a reason. It has no convictions and no policy.— Melbourne “Age.”
