ORGANISING RESOURCES. Nobody pretends that even yet Australia is properly organised for war. Everybody should recognise how tenderly chance or providence has treated us, in leaching us what are the necessities of war without introducing an enemy to our territory. A nation is not ready to fight until its subsidiary resources (such as engineering plants capable of turning out munitions) are directed with calculated precision to military work.—Sydney "Sun."
