Owing to the small yarding of fats there was keen competition among butchers, and prices showed a rise of from 2/- to '.',/■ per head. The small yarding of fat lambs met with poor competition from export buyers, and a line of ill), which was passed at IS/7, was sold privately after the sale. liest ewes made up to 22/10, wethers to 21!/-, and lambs 2.'!/(i.
