RETURNING SOLDIERS.
THE RUAHINE'S COMPLEMENT. Press Association. AUCKLAND, January 3. A list was published on December 22 giving the names of 111 ofiicers and men who are returning by the Ruahine. A supplementary list containing 10 names has been received by the Defence Department. It is as follows: Trooper Alfred George Saunders, Auckland Mounted Rifles (A. 11. Saunders, Waircre, Auckland). Trooper William John Perkins, Auckland Mounted Rifles (Mrs C. Perkins, Albert Street, Onehunga, mother). Farrier Joseph Wilson, Otago Mounted Rifles (David Wilson, Hamilton). Private Charles Edward Maguire, Otago Infantry (John Maguire, Woodhaugh, Dunedin). Regimental Sergeant-Major John Shortal, Otago Infantry (Mrs Elizabeth Shortal, Milton, wife). Private Romana Ratima, Maori Contingent (Wharc Romano, Poroporo, Bay of Plenty). Particulars regarding nearest relative are not available in regard to the following:— A. Baxter, Canterbury Infantry. M. L. Clarke and J. Duncan Auckland Infantry. C. Jones,, Auckland Mounted Rides.
