CRICKET.
VETERANS v. SUNNYSIDE. A match between the Veterans' Cricket Club and the Sunnyside team was played at Sunnyside on Saturday. Winning the toss, the homo team batted first, and, by vigorous cricket, scored 329 (Keogh '7l retired, Robertson 58, Hughes 19, Porter 47, Bascand, jun. 44, Freebody 24). The Veterans replied with 359 for seven wickets (Harris 70 retired, Page 70 retired, Mann 05 not out, Sir Cecil Moon 40, Rattray 42, L. McNae 10).
