SHIPPING NOTES.
The Union Company's Waitemata left Bunbury (Western Australia) on Christmas Eve with a cargo of jarrah for Duncdiii and Lyttelton. The vessel will make a call at Hobart for bunker coal, being due here about January 11.
The Canterbury Shipping Co.'s Storm missed the tide at Wanganui on Friday, and the vessel lias therefore Seen delayed. She will commence discharging to-morrow morning, and will leave In the evening for Lyttelton, being due here on Wednesday. After discharging the vessel will lay up for overhaul.
