A detachment of military police passed through Christchurch this morning, 011 its way from Wellington to Dunedin, to look after the members of the Reinforcements who are on leave in the latter city. Temporary military police arc going on duty in the streets of Christchurch this afternoon, and it is expected that a detachment of military police from Trentham will arrive in a day or two.
