THE SOLDIERS' QUEEN.

CJ).C. SUB-SECTION.

A meeting of the C.D.C. sub-sec-tion of the Soldiers' Queen Executive was held last evening in the Hereford Street office of the corps. Captain C. B. Morris was appointed chairman of the sub-section, and Mr Bakewell (Telephone-667) was appointed secretary. A dozen new members were added to the committee. It was suggested that the commanding officer and two other representatives of each branch of the corps should be asked to join the committee. Reports showed that there was premise of getting an energetic committee, the movement having been taken up heartily by the whole of the corps.
