FATHER'S FATAL MISTAKE.
ATTEMPTED MURDER AND SUICIDE.
By Cable.—Press Association. —Copyright. (Received December t, 8.40 a.m.) SYDNEY, December 1. A tragedy has taken place at Temora. A man named Douglas Hastie quarrelled with his daughter, and fired a revolver at her. The shot missed, but the girl dropped to the ground in a fright, and the father, thinking he had killed her,' immediately shot himself fatally.
