■ The combined bands patriotic demonstration will be held next Saturday. Nine bands will participate. A special meeting of master bakers and pastrycooks will be held to-morrow evening in the Employers' Association RSoms, re awards. The New Zealand Farmers' Co-opera-tive Association advertises the sale of live and dead stock belonging to Mrs A. Breeckon, at "Waiau, on Saturday next. The Christchurcli City Council invites tenders for additions to. the Waltham Library.
