LATEST WAR NEWS. CAMPAIGN IN MESOPOTAMIA. The High Commissioner reports that the enemy's strength in- the battle of 'Ctesiphon was estimated at four divisions. It is stated by prisoners that one battalion was practically wiped <out. 'Yhis was confirmed by our observation's, but. the approach of Turkish reinforcements being reported, General Townshend, bavins completed the removal of his wounded and prisoners, withdrew to a position lower down the river.
