INSULT OF GERMAN DOMINATION. FEDERAL PREMIER OUTLINES GOVERNMENT'S INTENTIONS (Received November 30, 9.40 a.m.) r SYDNEY, November 30. The Hon. W. M. Hughes, in a speech at a'meeting of members of the Journalists' Institute, said that German domination of trade was a grave insult to our national pride, and a serious reflection on our enterprise. Through tariff and suitable legislation the intended to assist the country to economise its resources- wisely, and direct its expenditure. It was proposed to organise industry and create machinery which, with scientific research, would develop manufactures, create new industries, and increase productivity.
