GREEKS IN ENGLAND.

A remarkably worded message was recently addressed to the Greek Consul in Newcastle by the Greek residents in North Shields. , The letter states that owing to the resignation of the Greek Premier, M. Venizelos, none of the Greek reservists at North Shields will go home to be under the orders of King Constantine. • "Please don't send any more notes for reservists," it continues. "We prefer rather to be war prisoners than to be friends of the* Iluns." The Greek colony at North Shields is fairly large, most of the Greek seamen working out of the Tyne making the town their headquarters.
