1 mt BRITISHERS CAPTURED. SWEDES LEAD GENDARMERIE. LONDON, November 24. The Foreign Office states that on November 10 the Persian gendarmerie seized the British Consul and Superintendent of the Indo-Euro-pean Telegraphs, and the European staff of the Imperial Bank at Shiraz. All were deported to Ahram, where* they are apparently in charge of Herr Wassmuss. The bank building was seized, and all private property confiscated. The Government is informed that gendarmerie in Northern revolted under their Swedish officers, and are holding Kum in the German interests. They cut the telegraph lines, and robbed British and Russians. Gendarmerie, under Swedish officers, also attacked Hamadan.
