FEARFUL LOSSES. GERMAN REGIMENTS CUT TO PIECES. (Received September 6, 1.55 p.m.) LONDON, September 5. A French communique states: — Captured German documents show that there have been heavy losses on the Russian front. The 42nd Infantry Regiment lost 36 officers and 1006 men. The 224 th Infantry Regiment lost, in Galicia, 2748 men, and the 61st Infantry Regiment lost 2030 men.
