AT THE DARDANELLES.
HIS LAST FLIGHT. AIRMAN KILLED. LONDON, September 5. Flight-Commander -Collett, who was a participator in. the raid on Dusseldorf, has been killed at the Dardanelles.^ GERMANS SURPRISED. WARNING AGAINST OVER-CON-FIDENCE. ROTTERDAM, September 4. * German comments on the Dardanelles developments indicate that the experts were surprised. They utter warnings against the cocksureness formerly displayed, and say that British doggedness must not be underestimated. The British admitted that they expected many disappointments before attaining final success. The Ge'rmans did not expect that important AngloFrench reinforcements would be sent. ' They consider that Italian help is more likely to increase the Turkish difficulties gravely.
