WOOLSTON FIRE BOARD.
ELECTION OF MEMBERS. the Woolston Borough Council received notice last evening from Sir F. D. Bell, Minister for Internal Affairs, that he had fixed July 26 for the election of a Fire Board to control the Woolston Fire District, recently gazetted. The communication stated that seven members were required, three to be appointed by the Borough Council, three by the insurance companies, and one by the Government An election was held, and the Mayor (Mr J. J. Graham), and Crs L. !H. Hart and C. Hill were elected.
