AVERAGE ENTRIES. There wore fairly good entries of sheep at the weekly market at Eangiora to-day, and the demand for all classes of sheep was fairly {food, and a good clearance was effected. Banks (Eangiora), 56 wethers 20/10; W.'Rogers (Fernside), 27 lambs 23/3; Al Smith (Fernside), 6 lambs 23/3, 8 lambs 20/7; W. Leech (Eajigiora), 7 wethers 21/6; Miss Ross (Eangiora), 12. ewes 11/9; W. Duncan (Rangi-j ora), 20 ewes 21/7, 36 ewes.lß/-. STORE SHEEP. The store sheep yarded were of a very indifferent class, consisting chiefly of aged ewes. Competition was not par-j ticularly free, and sales were somewhat: difficult to make so far as the ewes were' concerned. Other lines sold fairly well.; The principal sales were: 90 soundmouthed ewes 12/1, 19 wethers 17/-, 76 2-tooth wethers 13/5. 44 hoggets 9/3, .134 4 year ewes 10/2. PIGS. ; There were moderate entries of all classes of pigs, the fat classes being of n not very high standard, as a rather larger proportion than usual were indifferently finished. Values were:— Choppers, 50/- to 82/6. Extra heavy baeoners, to S4/-. Heavy baeoners, 70/- to 77/-. Light baeoners, 57/6 to 67/0. Porkers, 32/6 to 45/-. : j Large stores, 22/- to 30/-.
