(Reeeived April 27, 0.25 a.m.) AMSTERDAM, April 26. The "Telegraaf" states that a Zeppelin was destroyed in yesterday's raid at Gontrode.
LONDON, April 26. . Lord Hugh Cecil has been appointed lieutenant in the Royal Flying Corps.
A RUSSIAN RAID.
DESTRUCTION AT NEIDENBURG.
PETROGRDAD, April 26,
It is officially stated that Russian aviators bombarded Neidenburg, setting fire to the railway buildings and destroying the railway track. [Neidenburg is an important town in the south-west corner of East Prussia, 14 miles north-east of Soldau. Neidenburg is five miles from the frontier and 20 miles north of Mlawa.]
