Ho said that Dr Russell had taken a keen interest in educational matters, and in the welfare of the association. The vote was carried in silence, members standing. After dealing with the correspondence and arranging the business for tho next general meeting in May, the executive revised the rules, as requested at the last general meeting, to meet the requirements of the new Educational Act. The secretary was instructed to send a circular, to unaffiliated'committees after the householders' meetings had been held.
