AIDING THE FUNDS. I'rens AsßociaUon. 1 MASTERTON, April 11. I During the past week or two concerts and sales of flags have been held in 'various townships of the Wairarapa in aid of the Belgian and Allies' Belief Fund. These have resulted in a sum iof approximately £SOOO being gained, and there is the probability of another '£looo being added to this amount/ The sum of £4OOO lias been subscribed voluntarily in addition, which brings the total to over £IO,OOO. This is ;apart from 1200 carcases of. mutton .and many cases of clothing, the latter lbeing estimated at £2OOO in value. For the War Fund Wairarapa has sub'scribed about £22,000, making in all, over £35,000 for the district. At a meeting of the executive on Saturday it was decided to. vote £IOOO for the relief of the Servians and Montenegrins, to be followed by £SOO per month to the same cause. A vote of £4OO monthly was made to the Belgium Fund, and £IOO and 100 carcases of mutton to the Belgian Refugee Fund in London.
