Belasco went once round at n strong pace. Flying Start cantered once round, and the Others of Cutts's team were not extended. Georgo ran a mile in lmin 46sec. ■ 'JEmporador, Maitegarde, and Bimeter, separately, did half-pace work. Gold Soult ran a mile in lmin 50sec, and ■was not asked to do his best. jPavlova, with Coldstream, went a mile on the grass in lmin 44£ sec, the latter finishing well. Castalia and Mcrrie Ttoe did one circuit each. The latter afterwards galloped a mile on the tan in lmin 48 3-ssee. Chortlo and Multiply did a couple of circuits at a steady pace. Jilartyress went about a mile. Bahksia was sent one circuit on the un. B'he weather conditions improved after Lreakfast, when a good deal of work was done on: tho course proper. Taringaniutu, Bairusdale, and Ladean sprinted down the four furlongs straight, iinishing in that order. Hap Dha and Kene ran half a mile outside tho course proper in 51i«i>e. Depridation was three lengths in front of Holmsford over four furlongs in Olsec. - Rongora did six furlongs in lmin ITAscc. Ladoga ran five furlongs in lmin f.sec. Allan J)oi>ih' and Red Hook did a mile together in J min 4'! sec. Tete-a-tete ran five furlongs in lmin r.i«er. Beldame and Balboa got over a mile in lmin 14sei\ the latter ding the better. Downham and Kligiblc did sik furlongs in lmin Wiser. Otakura and Sartovna ran a mile in lmin fiOsec. "Chudic ran six furlongs in lmin 15isoc, and did it well. Agatha Green, Nita, and Merry Guy jumped the steeplechase country. Banian. Sartorze, and others were out.
