NORTHERN A. & P. ASSOCIATION
MEETING OF COMMITTEE
TJie General Committee of the Northern A. and P. Association met in llaugiora yesterday afternoon, Mr A. Mcintosh* presiding. There were sixteen members present. A letter was received from the late secretary, Major B. S. Jordan, who is now in 'Egypt with the Expeditionary Force, enclosing a donation of £5 5/-, to be followed by further periodic donations of £0 5/-, up to 20 guineas, for the purpose of instituting a Building Fund. He also donated a further £!> for the purchase of a trophy, to be competed for at the next annual show. Both offers were accepted by the meeting with acclamation. The secretary (Mr McNolly) wrote, tendering his resignation, the acceptance of "this being held over in the meantime.
Messrs B. D. Hutchison and 11. Hurley were elected members of the x\ssociation. The treasurer reported a special douation of £2 V- f>om Mr J - II - of Kydal Downs. Notice of motion re alteration of the dateWiftthe annual show was given by Mr B-Jvihg. • # Recwts admuntiug to £*» l 4/- were acknowledged by the treasurer, and it was arranged that a meeting of the Special Finance Committee should be held at 2.30 on Tuesday, April 20.
