MONOWAI DELAYED.
NOT TO LEAVE TILL MONDAY. Heavy rain fell at LyHelton all morning and afternoon, and it was impossible after a time for any work to be carried on among the. shipping. The Union Company's Monowai, which arrived from Dunedin this morning, and which would have, in ordinary course of events, left for Auckland via North Island east coast ports to-night, acting as late ferry steamer, will not, in consequence of the weather, be dispatched until the arrival of the .2.45 p.m. train from Christchurch on Monday,
