SOUTH CANTERBURY TOURNAMENT. THE FIRST DAY. The South Canterbury Centre's. Christmas tournament commenced yesterday on the Timaru, Kaitoa, and Park greens. The weather was excellent, and the greens were playing very nicely after the previous night's rain. A start was made with the rinks competi-] tlon.
