The National. Women's Relief Corps has a membership of over 10,000. Queen Elizabeth of Belgium is a fully qualified doctor of medicine. Women barbers, hairdressers, and manicurists in New York City number 3864. Over 8000 women are engaged in commercial pursuits in England and Wales. Pennsylvania has nearly 50,000 girl workers between the age of 16 and 20. All the women of the Austrian imperial family are acting as Red Cross nurses.
