(Received December 18, 12.55 p.m.) WASHINGTON, December 17. An official report to the American Government relates that after the British 'and French Consuls took refuge in the Italian Consulate, at Hodeida, in 'Arabia, the Ottoman military surrounded the Consulate and firing began, as a result of which an Italian attache was wounded. The British Consul then surrendered. The Turkish Governor accused the Italian Consul of firing on the Turkish troops, but the Italian warships arrived opportunely, and took the Italian Consul aboard. \ They remained off the shore until Italy presented her demands for the release of the other' Consuls, which, later on, was effected.
