DENOMINATIONAL GRANTS.
IF BIBLE IN SCHOOLS CARRIED. Press Association. WELLINGTON, December 7. A public meeting, held last night, passed a resolution expressing satisfaction at the action of the last Parliament in defending the national schools from clerical domination, and reminding electors that if the proposals of the Bible-in-Schools League were adopted, justice demands denominational grants to those churches which cannot accept the league's scheme.
