When one considers that the majority of our pleasures in life come through the exercise of that marvellous of sight, one realises that eyes should receive tbe very best of care and attention. Many of us, after giving the <?yes a hard day's work at business; come home and settle down to a'!good evening's reading; without a thought of the great strain placed upon the sight. "Die consequent headache and nerve-strain are often attributed to other causes, and the eyes persistently neglected. As we grow older, becomes increasingly difficult for the eyes to focus for near work or for reading, and it is therefore necessary to giye them some assistance, in the shape of spectacles, By far the most comfortable and efficient glasses now made are the new "Toric," or curved lenses, in which Mr Walter J. Watson specialises. ' WATSON'S "TORIC" LENS. From the foregoing illustration, it will be seen that these lenses are made to conform with the shape and movements of the eyes, ensuring absolutely clear sight in every direction, and generally enlarging the field of view. If glasses are only necessary for close work» "Tories" supply the maximum of comfort, and clear sight. If they are to be worn constantly, "Tories" give the wide-angle vision of the natural eye. Mr Watson will be pleased to explain the merits of these new spectacle lenses to anyone calling on him, at W. Watson and Co., Ltd. t Jewellers, Colombo Street (near Kincaid's).
