RANGIORA.

The annual devotion of the 40 hours* Adoration commenced on Sunday last at the Catholic Church, Kangiora, and was brought to a close on the following Tuesday. The services during the devotion were purely choral, the choir manifesting the results of careful training. During the time large numbers approached the sacred table. |, The occasional sermons were preached, by Father Berger, of St. Mary's, and Father Cronan, of the Cathedral.

The altars were most exquisitely, decorated by the sisters of the local convent.
