RECHABITES.
ST. ALBANS. The St. Albans Tent of Rechabites met on Thursday. It was reported that all the Tents had deeided'to take part in the prohobition campaign to be held on the Saturday prior to the national vote being taken. Sick pay was passed to seven brethren who were on the sick list. The agenda of business to be transacted at the annual district meeting, to be held at Invercargill in February ' was received, and on account of the radical alterations suggested in the rules, consideration was deferred. The members agreed to accept an invitation to attend a social gathering in connection with the Phillipson Tent. At the conclusion of business, "Question Box" was introduced, when some spirited discussions took place on topical subjects in which Bros. C. F. Dobbs,'Hewett (Phillipson), Trerise, Dick (Woolston), and Meadows and Hassall- (St. Albans) took part. An official visit was paid by the Provincial Officers, who met with a hearty reception, voiced by the Chief Ruler, Bro. Judkins. Those who attended were Brothers Leaver, Williams, Hassall, Saunders, and Spiers. In replying the Provincial Secretary congratulated the Tent on its rapid increase of membership, which consisted principally of young people. Other Tents had also done remarkably well in adding to their members. '
