BRITISH STEAMERS SUNK. CREWS LANDED SAFELY. (Received November 28, 11.50 a.m.) LONDON, November 27. A German submarine has sunk the Brit , ish steamer Malachtie, near Havre. The crew, were landed at Southampton. The steamer Primo was also sunk, off Cape Anti'fer, and the crew landed at Fecamp. . • . , [The Malachite was a three-masted steamer of 718 tons gross register, built at Glasgow in 1902, and owned by W. Robr . crtson, Glasgow being hen port of registry.
