Mrs Gower Bnrns's items were that dainty selection from Debussy's "L'enfant Prodiguc," and Carpentier's "E'er Since the Day." The other soloist was I)r Leslie Crooke, whose pianoforte solos were warmly acknowledged by the audience. His items were Chamhmde's "Pas des Amphores" and "Pierette," and Moszkowski's "Valse Brillantc." "The Image of the Rose" (a concerted number) was sung with a humming accompaniment, Mr C.
