A VALOROUS GARRISON.

the Germans from getting within fifteen miles of Epinal, though the garrison was often outnumbered tenfold. The Germans still occupy eighty thousand acres in the Vosges department.
British aviators report that the Germans between Nieuport and Dixmudo are only in sufficient force to.'make the Allies' offensive over the frozen floods inadvisable., The bulk of the Germans have been, transferred to Lille.
