Fletcher, the manager of the Taupiri Coal Mines at Huntly, was arrested by Detective-Sergeant Cooney at Huntly to-day on a charge of manin connection with the recent disaster at the mine. He was brought before the Huntly Court and remanded until November 27. Bail was allowed, self in £l5O and two securities in an equal amount.
