ADDINGTON MARKET.

AN AVERAGE SALE. • After a lapse ot' a fortnight-, on account of carnival week, the weekly sale at Addington was resumed to-day. The entry was an average one in all departments. There was the usual attendance of the public, and prices generally showed little or no alteration.

STORK SHEET. A fair yarding of store sheep were penned, comprising for the most part lines of wethers, chiefly young sheep. There were quite a number of pens of ewes and lambs ot" a useful description, and they met with good competition. Backward lines of wethers were not sought after, owing no doubt to the continued dry weather. Forward wethers sold well, a nice clean line of shorn four-tooths bringing 17/1. Values were as follow: ,

A big yarding of fat pigs came forward, and prices dropped slightly as compared with a fortnight ago, on account of the weaker demand. Values were as under: — Choppers, 60/- to 100/-.
