CONCLUDING DAY'S SPORT. The weather was beautifully fine for the concluding day of the Canterbury Jockey Club's meeting to-day, and there was a satisfactory attendance. The course was in splendid order, and the racing was full of interest. The total investments for the meeting amounted to £162,825, as against £158,431 for last year.

Kingsway led past the stand, where Otatara and Beacon came to grief. Going along the back straight Corrie took third place, and at the top turn she was almost on terms with Daylight Bill and Kingsway. Corrie was first over the last hurdle, and, drawing away, she won comfortably by six lengths. Daylight Bill tired badly over the last obstacle, and just lasted long enough to beat Kilmeny for second place by two lengths. Time, 3min 17 2-ssec.
