ASSESSMENT COURT.

Mr T. A. B. Bailey, with Mr Charles Clark as assessor for the Valuation Department, and Mr liadfield as assessor for the Spreydon Borough Council, held an Assessment Court yesterday afternoon to consider objections to the valuation of properties in Spreydon. Of fourteen names of objectors called from the East Ward not one appeared to uphold his objection, and of six objectors from the West Ward only one appeared —Victor Freeman, who considered that the -valuation of £6.'50 on his property should be reduced by £o(). The objection was upheld.
