At. the Inst fence Nat Lupin i and Scots Guard were almost on terms, and i a great finish resulted in the former winning j by a head. Time, Cinin i!sseo. GORDON HANDICAP, of i:so su vs. Five furlongs. Gold Necklet 7.9 J Kitty Bellairs 8.2 2 Signor 7.4 it All started. Gold Necklet led all the way. and won by three-quarters of a length. Time, lrain "sec. MANUKAU HURDLES, of l>oo sovs. One mile and three-quarter*. Spaltish 9.11 1 Dogger Bank 0.0 2 Admiral Soult 11.10 , . . . y All started. Spalfish went to the front, closely attended throughout by Dogger Bank, and won by a length and three-quarters. Time, 3min 17sec. First Wairiki broke a leg, and had to be killed. KING EDWARD MEMORIAL, of 1000 sovs. One mile and a-liulf. Allegation 7.10 1 Self 6.10 2 Sotiltikoff 6.12 3 All started. Self was the quickest to begin, nnd made the running to the turn for home, when Goldsize, Allegation, Royal Irish, and Prince Merriwee were in close company. Allegation gradually wore Self down, and won by three-quarters of a length. There was a neck between second and third. Time, 2min 36sec. EPSOM HANDICAP, of 300 *ovs. Six furlongs. Mullingnr 8.0 1 Patronale 7.11 2 Goldfire 8.4 3 Scratched: Bluestone and Ineuiu. Won by a length. Time, lmin 14 4-ssec. MUSKET STAKES, of 300 bovs. Foulfurlongs. Arran 8.10 1 Loyal Arch 7.7 2 Glissando 7.3 3 Scx-atched: Colonade. Arrnn shot to the front, and was never headed. Won by a length, six lengths between second and third. Sea Deil lost his rider. Time, 49 4-ssec. NORMANBY HANDICAP, of 130 sovs. Seven furlongs. Signature 7.4 1 Hadj 7.7 2 El Gallo 6.13 3 Scratched: Makura. Won by half a length. Time, lmih 29 3-ssec.
