HELPING BELGIAN FUND. Press Association. PALMEKSTOISr N., Nov. 7. The British and Belgian Belief Fund -will benefit by Manawatu Show. A merino ram, not inappropriately. named '' Kaiser Bill,' ; was sold and re-sold, until £607 was realised. The buyers included a number of children at threepence each. The ladies of Palmerston ran a luncheon and tea rooms, which netted about £450. The attendance yesterdays was 28,138, a record, and the gate and stand receipts were £IOO7.
