A communique states: —"The whole front is unchanged, though there has been severe fighting at Dixmudc and the Lya, The Germans in Belgium and Northern France are apparently being reinforced for a new offensive. Our artillery destroyed a column of German waggons to the north-east of the forest of £>e Laigle. We have re-taken Sapigneul, T near Berry-Aubac, and have repulsed -with the bayonet desperate attacks in. the Argonne and Wcevre districts. :
