CANTERBURY ASSOCIATION. The annual meeting of the Canter-, bury Bowing Association was held last evening, Mr F. D.' kesteven presiding. Kesteven and T. Chambers; Akaroa 8.C., Messrs F. S. Otley and A. Fisher; Timaru 8.C., Messrs W. Duggan and C..-G. Farrow; Cure 8.C., Messrs J. H. Keetley and A. Ti Brunsden. • No notification had been received of the nomination of the Sumner Rowing Club's delegates. It was. decided ■to ask the Drainage Board to receive a deputation, consisting of Messrs F. I). Kesteven, B. J. Hobbs, and R. E. Nightingale', regarding the state of the river.
